More paintings

Jesse was a last minute replacement for Mark to be St. Paul. He was tapping away at the Smith-Corona as I was painting him. The blank painting will be my third attempt to paint Abby as the Theotokos -- if it works tommorow, she will be part of a diptych with Aaron's Gabriel doing the Annunciation. Don't know why she's so hard to paint. Maybe it's because it's just too hard not to make her look like an anime cartoon.

Mat. Donna forwarded the blog to me - I am blown away by the rough work you've done, and would love to see some of your finished work.

I don't think I've met you - but I'll be sure to ask Mat. Donna to introduce me next time I'm over.

You really caught Greg well!

Amazing talent - please keep it up!

Judy, I love the painting. We are excited about seeing you soon. Your littler one is I'm sure so big now, not to mention Joshua. Wait till you see Jude and then our little princess/fireball Esme'. Can't wait to get together. We'll be in Vancouver first and (Lord willing) getting an apartment there.

See you soon.

Isaiah.

Wow, Judy. They're beautiful, really. I'm so sorry that I couldn't be a part of it. Drat this house-sitting gig. Sneaks is still crabby with me, this time for leaving her alone all weekend while I was at my massage course. sigh.
Well, they're gorgeous. I can't wait to see the picture of Abbi as an anime cartoon! :) I like anime.
And oh yeah, can I keep your daughter?

Ok Mags, go ahead and keep her. She asks for "nur-nur" every once in a while though.

Whoa, that's really good. And the Smith-Corona typewriter is just like the one I learned to type on, way back when I was 4 or 5 or 6 or whatever.

Hey Gypsy, (or is it Arabian Princess now?) No, haven't painted over you. I painted you AGAIN. Everything but the dress so far on another gessoed paper. I'm liking it but the original is edgier. Will work on both in tandem to see which will face "Gabriel". Was just visiting your blog in hopes of some updates but was pleasantly surprised here!

So... How'd it go????
